A nameless fallen angel arrives in the underworld, freshly clipped of his wings, seeking protection the only way he knows how: by binding his body and his life to a demon's through an ancient ritual. He isn't expecting his new bond to be the Night Prince himself, one of the oldest, most secretive demons there is. The newly dubbed Rosefinch must learn to navigate the halls of his new home, and the equally labyrinthine loyalties of the demons who make up the High Courts of Hell.
